Returns
Returns must be made within 10 days of the date of receipt, in the same condition
as sold; i.e. (in original packages, no partial strands etc.). A copy of the
invoice and a clear explanation concerning the nature of the return must accompany
the returned merchandise. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on
all merchandise returned after 10 days. Special orders or items made to your
specifications are not returnable. We matte beads to specifications. For that
reason, matted beads are not returnable. All beads and jewelry is inspected prior to shipment.
Return of jewelry needs to be made with in 3 days of receipt, all other conditions as above.
We charge a 15% restocking fee for return of Swarovski crystals, as these are standardized and never vary, all other conditions as above. Earrings may not be returned for hygenical reasons.
Returned merchandise needs to be clearly marked on the customs slip as "Return
of German merchandise, Unstrung glass beads (pearls) Country of Origin Italy
(China)". Customs and excise fees levied on us for failure to do so will
be charged back to you - the charges are customarily 16% of the value plus a
handling charge of ~ 25,50 Euro- 37,40 Euro. Correctly marked packages incur
no charge, and are not expensive to return (also see below).
To return beads from the U.S. you should use First Class or Priority Mail. Do
not use Global Priority Mail. The cost should no be more than $4.00 euro. Contact
us prior to mailing should costs exceed $4.00.
If you received damaged beads, they were damaged in transit. For damaged beads it is the customer's responsibility to correspond with FEDEX and UPS and file
the claim. Pictures as proof of damage either from a scanner, copier or digital
camera are required. In case of loss or damage, please file a claim with the
carrier immediately upon receipt of damaged merchandise or suspected loss of
shipment. When contacting us, please state the SKU number and order number and
forward the digital proof of damage. Don't send anything back until we have
asked you to do so and if you send something back follow our return instructions.
The customer's failure to follow the instructions above or failure to file the
complete claim within the time period alloted may result in the claim not being
adjucated. It is our standard policy to replace broken merchandise and not issue
credit. It is at our discretion to require merchandise to be returned or to
accept scanned or digital pictures as proof.
