Glass beads with white centers (cores) are called "White Heart Beads". They are also marketed under the name "Incalmo" or "Incalmo Beads".

The white core (white heart) of the bead gives the translucent glass above the white center a special luminescence. All our white heart beads are hand-made in either Venice or Murano, the glass-making island close to Venice. We are thus able to provide you with the highest quality possible in White Heart glass beads.
