Hand blown beads are hollow on the inside. They are incredibly strong due to their round shape. Most lampworked beads are commonly refered to handblown. There is however a distinction between the lampworked and hand blown. Lampworked means worked by hand on a torch, while handblown means actual air was blown into the bead to form a bubble.
